Desert Lotus Tribal is a tribal fusion belly dance troupe based in the Southern California high desert communities of Palmdale / Lancaster in the Antelope Valley. The troupe is made up of a diverse group of dedicated women with a passion for Tribal Fusion and American Tribal Style belly dance. 

Their performance style and costuming choices are influenced and inspired by American Tribal Style belly dance while exploring traditional and modern dance and music from around the world in order to celebrate the grace, strength, beauty, and sisterhood of tribal belly dance.

Desert Lotus Tribal Belly Dance was formed in late 2005 and made their debut performance at a hafla to celebrate Krisha Kazmira's retirement in early 2006. 

The troupe started out with three original founding members, Dana (troupe director), Cindy V., and Alyssa.  Becky and Cindy H. joined the troupe in the Spring of 2006 and Katie was added in the Summer of 2006.  Briana joined the troupe in the Summer of 2007.  In January 2008, DLT welcomed its newest members, Lucy & Danielle!! 

Troupe members include Dana, Cindy V., Alyssa, Cindy H., Katie, Briana, Lucy & Danielle.  Cindy H. is currently on hiatus for the birth of her second child.
